Howdy. My name is Emmett O'Hara, III or E3 for short. I was born in Chicago and moved to California when I was eight. I started playing the guitar at eight, and have been playing and writing music ever since. I took woodshop at Santa Rosa High School, and began building my first guitars then. After high school I worked for Michael Dolan Custom Guitars for ten years. I'm very grateful for the guitar building skills that Michael taught me.
I specialize in all facets of guitar repair and restoration. I'm a Fender Certified Technician, and I offer Buzz Feiten Tuning Systems installation. O'Hara Guitars has been in business since 2002.
